QUADULTRAINERS PROJECT
“Towards a European Qualification Prototype for Adult Trainers”
On 27th - 28th- 29th of January 2010 will be held in Lisbon, in the premises of the Portuguese Bank Training Institute (IFB), the Partners Meeting, the Advisory Board Meeting and the Concertation Seminar of QUADULTRAINERS PROJECT.
The Professional identity of Adults Trainers is a key factor in the "knowledge society" and an high valuable asset in order to implement lifelong learning policies and practices in Europe.
Quadultrainers Project aims at increasing the social recognition and reputation of the Adults Trainers Profession by proposing - through a multi-stakeholder research and a consensus building process - a "European Qualification Prototype" for Adult Trainers using the contribution of scholars and practitioners in the field of Vocational Training in European level with a piloting phase in the Financial Service Sector.

- NIBE-SVV (NL) - The Knowledge Institute and Publisher for the Dutch Banking, Insurance and Investment Industry (Contractor)
- EBTN, European Banking & Financial Services Training Association(LU) - Association to create a common European Education and Training Culture within the Financial Services Sector (Strategic Coordinator)
- SCIENTER (IT) - Research Centre and Service Provider Organization active in Education and Training Sector (Technical and methodological Coordinator)
- AIF, Associazione Italiana Formatori(IT) - Association in the field of Training and Human Resource Development
- Febelfin Academy (BE) - The Professional Training Institute for the Financial Sector in Belgium
- HWR Berlin, School of Economics and Law (GE) - Germany's University specialized in the Business and Economics expertise
- IFB, The Portuguese Bank Training Institute (PT) - The Portuguese Bank Association's Company providing ongoing Training and specialized Higher Education
The project evaluation activity will be supported by the professional advise of the Advisory Board which will act as an "External evaluator body".
QUADULTRAINERS' Advisory Board will be set up by learning experts and representatives of National Quality and Accreditation Bodies.
The Concertation Seminar is an opportunity to present the main aims and objectives of the Project. This should create the opportunity to set up a consensus approach in order to build an open dialogue among key actors and collect experiences from different stakeholders. With the contribution of the Partners, Institutional Experts and the Members of the Advisory Board - composed by Learning Experts, Representatives of National Quality and Accreditation Bodies who has been set up to verify and validate the European Qualification Prototype for Adult Trainers.
